Accessible to all speakers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., this plastic proposal will engage a reflection on the challenges of our contemporary food. This bar of flavors

will offer different types of plastic experiences, in particular through taste variations around food substitutes potentially threatened with extinction.

Symposium issues:

On the one hand, in public debates in the world of development, the concept of Resilience is increasingly associated with the major challenges posed by the multiple disturbances and crises that our societies are experiencing, in particular climate change, economic instability, and increasing poverty.
On the other hand, many schools of thought interested in the management of natural resources and environmental issues have developed practices and concepts to analyze and support the trajectories of societies, of their environment, in particular the school of resilience. ecological and social systems.
The challenge is therefore to bring these communities together in order to allow the emergence of innovative and appropriate solutions.

*International scientific conference from 4 to 8 May 2014 Montpellier organized by François Bousquet researcher at CIRAD. His work focuses on the conservation of biodiversity and the concerted management of natural and renewable resources.
